Union Budget 2021: 18 Opposition parties announce their decision to boycott President’s address

It is reported that the crucial session of the Union Budget 2021 is set for a stormy start as many as 18 Opposition parties have announced their decision to boycott the President's address to a joint sitting of both the Houses ahead of the Budget session in solidarity with the farmers agitating against the Central farm laws.

The opposition is stated to corner the government on issues like recession, job losses, handling of COVID crisis, LAC standoff with China and the leaked WhatsApp messages of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami. Anand Sharma, a Congress leader stated that the government should listen to the farmers in the interest of the country and repeal the three farm laws. Listen in to reactions.
