‘Unfortunately there is no agenda’: J&K’s Congress chief on all-party meeting

New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): Ahead of J&K all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UT’s Congress president Ghulam Ahmad Mir on June 24 said, “Unfortunately” there is no agenda in today’s meeting with PM.” “Unfortunately there is no agenda for (all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi). We've been told that it will be open and free debate. Ghulam Nabi Azad, myself, and Tara Chand will attend the meeting,” Mir told ANI, Former Jammu and Kashmir chief ministers Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mehbooba Mufti are among those invited for the meeting. This is the first high-level interaction between the Centre and political leadership mainly from Kashmir since August 5, 2019 when the Centre revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and the state was bifurcated into two union territories.
