UDMF walks out of Parliamentary Meeting

The United Democratic Madhesi Front walked out of the Parliamentary meeting after Vice President of Nepal Sadbhawana Party Laxman Lal Karna accused the government of turning a blind eye to the plight and the demands of the Madhesi people. He also accused the government of becoming insensitive regarding the deaths at the time of protests in Madhesh. Earlier, the alliance of Madhes-based parties had given an ultimatum to the government saying that it would withdraw its support to Prachanda-led government if the local election dates are not revoked in seven days.
