UDMF-Government inches closer to strike deal in holding elections in Nepal

Recently the ruling alliance government ensured the United Democratic Front (UDMF) to address their demands reviewing the new bill on constitution amendment. With three weeks left for holding the election the hints by UDMF's meeting agreement has ignited the hopes for the end in political deadlock but is yet to seal a concrete agreement. In the first round of meeting, the UDMF expressed their reservation over the new amendment bill and demanded for amendment in Article 7 and 274. The meeting resulted as inconclusive. A new task force was formed, which is assigned to do homework for the revision of the newly tabled Constitution Amendment Bill.
