Bengaluru is the country’s most forgetful city, according to an index released by taxi-hailing firm Uber Technologies Inc.
Karnataka’s capital is followed by New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata as the most forgetful Indian cities, as per the Uber Lost and Found India Index. It is a list of the most ‘lost and found’ items.
The most commonly forgotten items are mobile phones, rings, keys and wallets.
The uncommon items are more interesting, with puppies and bullet-proof vests making it to the list.
Uber customers were the most forgetful in December, more so on the last day of the year, the index shows. 31 December was also a Saturday, the most common day for Uber users to report a lost item, according to the index.
The ride-hailing firm says the aim of creating such a list was to spread awareness among its users and tell them about how they can recover the lost item.
