UAE to airlift heart patient from Kuwait

Abu Dhabi, Jan 23 (IANS/WAM) United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered for sending a medical aircraft to airlift an Emirati citizen, being treated at a Kuwaiti hospital following a heart stroke.

Hassan Mohammed Al Ma'mari, 67, suffered a heart stroke during his stay in Kuwait and was rushed to a hospital's intensive care unit until his health condition stablised.

An officer from UAE's interior ministry and a medical team from the health authority of Abu Dhabi were rushed to bring the patient back for treatment in the UAE.
