Two boys found dead in Bhopal dam, drowning suspected

Bhopal, Apr 3 (PTI) In a suspected case of drowning, two teenage boys were found dead in Bhopal's Kaliasot dam, police said on Saturday.

Their bodies were fished out this morning and sent for post-mortem, in-charge of Kolar police station Chandrakant Patel said.

On Friday evening, the police had received a complaint that two city boys, aged 14 and 15 years, had gone missing, he said.

'Their family members said that they had left the house on their bicycles. On Saturday morning, the cycles and clothes of these boys were spotted near gate number 13 of Kaliasot dam, following which the bodies were fished out with the help of divers,' he said.

It is suspected that these boys got into deep water while taking bathin Kaliasot dam and got drowned, he said.

Police have registered a case and investigation is on, he said. PTI ADU NP NP
