Delhi High Court has issued notice in a plea that sought directions to the Central government to ensure that Twitter complies with the new IT rules. Although seven other social media companies had already complied to the new IT rules, Twitter had been refusing to cave in. However, in recent developments, the social media giant has said in a Delhi High Court hearing that it has appointed a resident grievance officer in compliance with the new IT rules of the Indian government.
