Twitter begins compliance process in India; responds to IT Ministry's notice

After locking horns with the Centre on several occasions, Twitter has now begun its compliance process and has informed the IT Ministry of the same. Social media giant Twitter has now appointed a Resident Grievance officer and a Nodal Officer. All of this, after the IT Ministry brought in reforms in the laws for Social media & OTT platforms. The social media giants & the OTT platforms were given a three months deadline in order to comply with the new rules set up by the IT Ministry.
