Sikkim reports 24 new COVID-19 cases

Gangtok, Nov 20 (PTI) At least 24 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Sikkim, raising the tally in the state to 4,632, a senior official said on Friday.

A 40-year-old man succumbed to the infection, pushing the toll to 96.

East Sikkim reported 20 new cases, while South Sikkim registered two cases and West Sikkim and North Sikkim logged one case each, the official said.

Sikkim currently has 265 active cases, while 4,186 patients have recovered. Eighty-five others have migrated out.

As many as 60,557 samples have been examined so far, including 182 since Thursday. PTI KDK RMS RMS
