Tripura junior doctors protest for stipend hike, stop non-emergency duties

Agartala (Tripura), June 24 (ANI): Junior doctors in Agartala are on agitation demanding a hike in their stipend. Agitating doctors stopped their all non-emergency duties in the Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) and GB Panth memorial hospital, the chief referral hospital in the state. Hundreds of doctor trainees and internees with placards on their demands protested in front of the AGMC hospital on June 24.
