17 Mar 2021: Toyota Urban Cruiser SUV recalled in India over airbag issue
Toyota has recalled 9,498 units of the Urban Cruiser SUV in India due to a possible issue with the driver-side airbag module. The units manufactured between July 28, 2020 and February 11, 2021 are said to be affected by this safety issue.
Authorized Toyota dealerships will contact the owners of the affected vehicles for inspection and replacement of the faulty part free of cost.
