Tottenham Hotspur start their Europa League adventure tonight, at home to Austrian side LASK Linz.

Spurs will be aiming to bounce back from their late collapse against West Ham at the weekend, where they shipped three goals in the closing stages to draw 3-3.

Gareth Bale could make a first start in his second spell at the club, while new striker Carlos Vinicius could also be in the running for his debut.

LASK are fifth in the Austrian Bundesliga with two wins from their four games so far.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

When is the match?

The game kicks off at 8pm on Thursday, 22 October.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 2. Subscribers can also stream the match via the BT Sport website or app.

What is the team news?

Spurs are likely to line-up with Hugo Lloris in goal, while at full-back, it is likely to be Matt Doherty and Ben Davies replacing Serge Aurier and Reguilon. The centre-backs will probably not see any changes as Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld were impressive against West Ham and will want to continue that form.

Dele Alli will be hoping to be included in midfield having started in all of the Europa League qualifiers so far. Gareth Bale could expect to start but do not be surprised if Jose Mourinho names a much-changed side.

Erik Lamela is also expected to feature in some capacity, while there’s a decision to make up front as Harry Kane has been in exceptional form, but Carlos Vinicius is waiting for his full debut.

LASK will be without midfielder Dominik Reiter, who has a torn cruciate ligament. Outside of that, the Austrian side will be able to call upon a full-strength squad which they will need against Tottenham who are by far the superior team.

Tottenham (confirmed): Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Davies, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Winks, Lamela, Bale, Lucas, Vinicius

LASK (predicted): Lawal, Ramsebner, Filipovic, Weisinger, Ranftl, Holland, Michori, Renner, Gruber, Balic, Raguz
