1) Only eat desserts you love
Sweets are meant to be delicious. When you are eating your favorite cake or pie, it is worth the extra calories or sugar you are consuming. To avoid feeling guilty about your choices, try to stick with a small portion per day.
2) Go for home-made desserts
It is always a good idea to make sweets & desserts at home if possible. It is healthy as outside desserts contain artificial flavors, preservatives, & colors. Jaggery is a great option to be used in sweets made at home instead of sugar.
3) Eat healthy food
Enjoying a sweet treat every now and then won't have as big of an impact on your diet if you are healthy & fit otherwise. Just try to eat protein-rich food items like lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, legumes, and milk, so you will be less likely to eat a huge dessert at once. Also, don't forget to drink plenty of water to help toxins flush out.
4) Stay active
It is always important to continue with regular physical activity that can help to burn extra calories. If you are not able to work out every day, try to limit your calorie intake on that particular day too.
