Eating too much salt
The first thing that could be responsible for your swollen or puffy eyes in the morning is too much salt intake. Excess sodium levels in your diet can cause water retention which in turn can cause your eyes to puff or swell. Pre-packaged, canned, and frozen food items contain excessive amounts of salt. Instead, try to eat fresh vegetables and fruits. Also, it's advisable to read labels and to keep an eye on what you're eating.
Drinking Too much alcohol
