On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court granted Nikita Jacob a three-week transit anticipatory bail in connection with the "Toolkit" document case related to the protest by farmers.
'Bombay HC has given Nikita Jacob a three-week interim relief. The judge acknowledged that she cooperated repeatedly in the investigation. She will appear for questioning if she is summoned again by Delhi Police. Meanwhile, in three weeks' time, for a regular anticipatory bail request, we have to approach either suitable court in Delhi,' said Sanjukta Dey, Nikita Jacob Lawyer. The court stated that Jacob would be released on a personal bond of Rs 25,000 and one guarantee of the same amount in case of arrest.
Meanwhile, a Delhi Police source said that in the 'Toolkit' case, Jacob has a larger role to play.
