TMC worker allegedly stabbed to death in Paschim Medinipur

Hours ahead of voting for the second phase of the West Bengal election, Trinamool Congress worker was allegedly stabbed to death in Paschim Medinipur district in the early hours of Thursday. The TMC worker was at a club in Hariharpur in Keshpur when he was allegedly attacked. He died on the way to the hospital. TMC has alleged that he was stabbed by BJP workers to create tension and intimidate voters ahead of the Phase 2 polling. The voting for the second phase of assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam is underway today. The West Bengal election second phase is witnessing an intense battle between Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari in Nandigram.
