TMC restricts campaigning in Kolkata ahead of rising COVID cases; Only 1 meeting to be held on April 26

Amidst the rising COVID cases in the state of West Bengal, Trinamool Congress has stepped up and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has stated that Trinamool Congress will restrict the political campaigning in Kolkata, West Bengal ahead of rising COVID cases. This has come in after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi decided to suspend all his political rallies in the state of West Bengal citing concerns of COVID surge. There are three more phases left and the public campaigning has not been restricted by the Election Commission. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has cut down the number of meetings and stated that not more than 20 public meetings will be held for the next three phases of elections. Watch the video to know more!
