The All India Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party stated that they are going to boycott President Ram Nath Kovind’s address ahead of Union Budget. Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Nabi Azad has in fact claimed that 16 political parties will remain absent tomorrow and not attend President’s speech.
According to reports, the boycott of the President’s address comes in to show solidarity with the protesting farmers. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also shown her support to the agitating farmers and opposed the new farm bills passed by the Central Government.
