Times Now has sent a legal notice to Broadcast Audience Research Council for failing to act against the ones who were involved in the malicious attempts to benefit the competitor channel and thereby restricting Times Now to Number 2 position intentionally and illegally.
The legal notice highlights how BARC in connivance with the beneficiary channel perpetrated a systemic fraud to target Times Now and its tamper TRP Rating since 2017. Despite BARC’s audit report, highlighting the corruption and malicious practises, the organisation kept silent and encouraged the crime. Many other charges pointing to irregularity and corruption were also raised against BARC in the legal notice.
