The Anti-Terrorist squad ( ATS) of Uttar Pradesh continues its search for illegal conversion of poor individuals and children with speech and hearing disabilities. The people were brainwashed and threatened. Not only this, the victim told Times Now how they put the trap on these vulnerable victims by promising them job opportunities, wealth, foreign funds, junkets, and wives. According to ATS, the main accused -- Mohammed Umar Gautam, himself is a convert and a resident of the Batla House area, and Mufti Kazi Jhangir Qasi, chairperson of Islamic Dawa Centre at Jamia Nagar, have been involved in converting around 1000 people.
