October 29 witnessed the amazing release of Tian Xi 2021 spring & summer Chinese dress series at 751D·PARK, Beijing. With “Exciting” as the theme, the release showed a positive and hot-blooded state. Just like the brand Tian Xi, it has been adhering to the concept of “Chinese culture on the body”, forging ahead in a resolute and enterprising manner, inheriting the Chinese spirit, condensing Chinese ingenuity and devoting itself to Chinese weaving.
The show is included three collections , i.e. the encountering of brilliant cultural collision, the blending of tranquility and splendor, and the blooming of magnificence and resoluteness. Su Juanjuan, the designer of Tian Xi , outlines the historical relationship between the contemporary and the inheritance. Ranging from silhouette forming, color circulation to artistry inheritance, each level embodies the fusion posture of innovation, and can also explore the spiritual totem of five thousand years of dress civilization behind the masterpieces. These imprints of times also reveal our self-confidence in culture by expressing our views from the heart.
The most important thing is more than 12 Suzhou embroidery skills have been applied in the series of works, including spun gold embroidering, knotting embroidering, inverse needling embroidering, plain embroidering, winding needle embroidering etc. as well as almost lost “flat gold embroidering”. At the cuff and neckline, the traditional embedding, rolling and inlaying techniques are also used for decorative art; heavy silk satin, original real silk checkered silk, real silk and doupioni, and old silk materials and even collection-class old silk and old embroidery.
The traditional Chinese auspicious patterns are extracted and applied creatively, such as prosperous scene, auspicious deer, swimming fish around peony; blessing of golden ox, longevity for generation and so on.
