Bengaluru, July 11 (ANI): Former union minister Thawarchand Gehlot on July 11 took oath as the new Governor of Karnataka on July 11. The Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka administered Thawarchand Gehlot the oath of office. Gehlot was appointed as the new Governor of Karnataka on July 6. He replaced Vajubhai R Vala, who held the post of Governor of Karnataka since 2014.
