Telangana Governor expresses concern over vaccine hesitancy in tribal areas

Puducherry, July 11 (ANI): The Governor of Telangana, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, expressed her concern over the vaccination hesitancy in pockets of the state.Governor Soundararajan said, “Telangana is moving forward in vaccination but there is one problem, it has more tribes. They're not taking vaccines, they're hesitant. So, tomorrow I'll go to a tribal village in Rangareddy.”Tamilisai Soundararajan who is also the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry said, “Vaccination has picked up in Puducherry, we've crossed over 5 lakh vaccinations. Our aim is to vaccinate the whole UT before Aug 15. People had vaccine hesitancy but now they've overcome it. Puducherry will be totally vaccinated before Aug 15th, as per our plan.”
