Tejashwi's mantra to overthrow BJP for opposition : unite or fall
RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav has appealed to all the opposition parties to unite against the BJP in the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections else their chances of changing the guard at the Centre are bleak. Tejashwi, who attended the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru today took to Twitter to share his sentiments over opposition unity.
"I was pleased to meet, interact and share the stage with senior and prominent leaders of the country. United we stand, divided we fall", tweeted Tejaswi Yadav, RJD leader.
Tejaswi Yadav got a chance to meet a host of opposition leaders including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BSP chief Mayawati, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, NCP chief Sharad Yadav, RLD chief Ajit Singh, TMC chief and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu, CPM leader Sitaram Yechury and CPI leader D Raja.
Tejashwi also lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over continuing rise in the prices of petrol and diesel and said it has brought tears in the eyes of the common man. Speaking in the cricketing parlance, Tejaswi called PM Modi a captain under whose captaincy the prices of fuel was about to reach Rs. 100 per litre.
"Under the able captaincy of PM Modi, the prices of petrol and diesel is about to reach a century mark. This has brought tears to the eyes of the people and the stadium is in silence," tweeted the RJD leader.
