Tamil Nadu: Section 144 imposed; BJP MP says that an AIMIM chief is involved in Bhainsa violence

Dharmapuri Arvind, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, reported that a representative of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is to blame for the recent communal clashes in Telangana's Nirmal district.

A dispute between members of two groups in Zulfekar lane sparked the trouble. The two groups then started throwing stones at each other. Two houses, two auto-rickshaws, two four-wheelers, and five two-wheelers were also set on fire by miscreants. The situation in the town has now been brought under control, according to Inspector-General of Police (North Zone) Y Nagi Reddy. 'The violence occurred on Sunday night following an altercation between two youths from separate communities over a motorcycle accident,' Reddy explained.
