India is now witnessing a surge in the number of Black Fungus infection, with several states recording a daily surge. As many as 90 people have lost their lives in Maharashtra due to the Black fungus and the state government has now appealed to the Centre to help. After Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu has reported 9 cases and the state is soon going to notify the disease. If Tamil Nadu notifies the disease, it will be the fourth state in the country to do so. The Tamil Nadu government has been closely monitoring the sporadic rise in the black fungus' infections. An advisory has also been sent to the private hospitals. Times Now's Shabbir reports.
