Tamil Nadu Covid surge: Government reserves beds for senior patients

Tamil Nadu has recorded 4,250 Covid cases in the last 24 hours. With the entire nation grappling with the shortage of oxygen and ICU beds, Tamil Nadu has started planning its health policy in advance. The government has set up 12 screening camps all across the state, wherein, patients are screened and categorized according to the level of infection they are having. The health department is continuously adding beds, with over 12,000 beds added in the last few days. The government has changed the covid admission protocols in various hospitals and is continuously training the patients.
