Tamil Nadu: BJP chief J. P. Nadda, CM Edappadi. K. Palaniswami in Madurai today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda has begun his three-day visit to Tamil Nadu ahead of the assembly elections in the southern state. Heis in Madurai today to visit Meenakshi Amman Temple and offer prayers, He will hold meetings with the party leaders and address public meetings in Madurai and Puducherry. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had visited the state last week. Elections will be held for the 234 seats of the legislative assembly later this year and the political campaigning in the state is beginning to intensify with nearing dates of the polls.
