New Delhi, Aug 17: Congress president Rahul Gandhi leaves no stone unturned to train guns at the BJP. No matter what the issue is, Rahul is quick to blame Prime Minister Modi-led government for it.
Rahul has now blamed BJP president Amit Shah for switching off his mic to silence him, albeit in a lighter vein.
Yesterday (August 16), Rahul was addressing at 'Sanjhi Virasat Bachao Sammelan' in Delhi when his mic suddenly fell silent. When the mic became functional, the Congress president reportedly said, "Yeh Amit Shahji ne mic off kar diya hai." (Amit Shah switched off the mic).
On the political front, Rahul has been trying to corner the government over the Rafale deal. Even during the Monsoon Session of the Parliament, the Congress leaders demanded that the BJP-led Centre reveal the unit cost of Rafale jet being purchased from French company Dassault.
"''I mentioned in Parliament about the corruption in Rafale deal. UPA made a deal to procure jets. But PM Modi traveled to France and changed the contract,'' the Congress president had recently said.
On the other hand, Congress MP from Kerala Shashi Tharoor has been relentlessly criticising the Modi-led government. Tharoor had recently said that India may become a 'Hindu Pakistan' if the BJP comes back to power in 2019.
