Suzuki Ertiga Sport image leaked ahead of official unveil
Japanese vehicle manufacturer Suzuki has geared up to showcase its range of concept cars at the ongoing Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show held at Jakarta, Indonesia. However, before the actual showcase, a set of images of what seems to be the upcoming Ertiga Sport has surfaced on the internet.
The concept Ertiga Sport in the image gets a brown shade of paint, large wheels with low-profile tires, and a body kit with added skirts on the side, and front and rear bumpers. The radiator grille is custom mesh from Suzuki with smoked headlamps. The vehicle looks sporty and gets a lower ground clearance than the stock model, which means there could be tweaks in the suspension as well.
The tweaked Ertiga is slated to be revealed at the Auto show. However, this news should be taken with a pinch of salt because Suzuki has not mentioned anything about the mass production yet. We assume the vehicle may be there only for display purposes and may not make it to mass production at all.
The new-gen Ertiga has already been launched in Indonesia. The Ertiga comes powered with a 1.5-litre petrol which is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic. Maruti Suzuki will be bringing the updated Ertiga to the Indian shores this year.
