Surge in COVID Cases; 40,000 cases recorded in 24 hours; Union Health Ministry hails Kerala model

The rising COVID cases in India have become a massive issue, eight states including Maharashtra and Delhi are reporting a continuous rise in the trajectory of new COVID cases as India recorded one lakh infections in three days including the latest spike of more than 40,000 in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry while giving the latest update with respect to COVID19 said that there is also a state like Kerala which is rather showing a consistent declining trend, and maybe other states can learn from the Kerala example.
