The Supreme Court has scrapped the ban of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat in four states and has green-lit its release. The film’s producers had moved court against the ban yesterday.
Harish Salve, who represented the producers, argued that states banning the film hampers the federal structure, and that they can’t meddle with the content of a film.
