Supreme court ordered to pay Minimum standards of relief as compensation for COVID-19 deaths

The Supreme court has ordered a pay compensation for the Covid Deaths where a minimum standard of relief paid. The Supreme court further says that the government has failed in statutory duty. Additionally, the Supreme Court has not quantified the particular amount but a minimum standard, and all the victims deserve some relief. The Supreme court was giving orders on a PIL that sought payment of 4 Lakh for every covid death. The rest payment details are left to the National Authorities. The Supreme court added that National Disaster Management Authority is saturated with mandatory minimum relief standards to the Covid Victims.
