Supreme Court agrees to hear fresh plea challenging sedition law

Delhi: In Supreme Court (SC) today Fresh plea has been filed against sedition law yet again. Supreme court beanch which is headed by chief Justice N. V. Ramana has directed the petition on challenging the constitutional validity of section 124A of Indian Penal court (IPC) that deals with the offence of sedition which is called sedition law. Also Supreme Court has agreed to hear this plea tomarrow . The petition argues that Section 124A is a restriction of individuals' freedom of expression and falls short of the provisions of reasonable restrictions on freedom of speech under Article 19 of the Constitution.
