Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Dry

weather prevailed over North Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep,

Rayalaseema and Telangana.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded in centimetres are:

Tamil Nadu: Shencottah (Tirunelveli Dist) 2.

Kerala: Nedumangad (Thiruvananthapuram district) 3,

Punalur (Kollam district) 2 and Thiruvananthapuram city,

Thiruvananthapuram AP , Neyyattinkara , Peringamala $ ARG,

Perumkadavila $ ARG (all in Thiruvananthapuram district) and

Aryankavu (Kollam district) 1 each.
