Sukma encounter: ‘Soldiers were sent to install camps in Naxal bastion’, says CM Baghel

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Apr 04 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel gave the latest update of Sukma encounter. He hailed the bravery of the jawans, who fought with the Naxals in Sukma’s Junaguda village and said that Naxals also suffered casualties. “About 2000 soldiers were sent to install camps in an area which is Naxal bastion. This would restrict their movement, hence they were frustrated. There was no intelligence failure. We'll surely install camps there. My condolences to bereaved families,” he said. An encounter took place between Naxals and security forces in Junaguda village in Sukma-Bijapur border on April 03.
