Stubble burning continues in Punjab's Ludhiana

Ludhiana (Punjab), Nov 22 (ANI): Farmers continue to burn stubble in Ludhiana’s Badwal village on November 22. Stubble burning is a process of setting on fire the straw stubble, left after harvesting of crops. Burning farm residue is one of the major causes of air pollution in parts of north India. It adversely affects the Air Quality Index in the national capital.
