I stopped him, didn't push: AAP MLA on Manoj Tiwari controversy

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan, accused of trying to push Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi state president Manoj Tiwari off a stage, on Monday clarified his stand. Speaking on the incident and the ruckus at the event, Khan said, "Manoj Tiwari was not invited at inauguration of Signature Bridge still he came there with his supporters. They torn our posters and hoardings, showed black flags and attacked our workers. When Arvind ji arrived they came near the stage but police didn't stopped them." He further added, "When he was trying to climb the stage I stopped him, I didn't push. It was obvious from his actions that if he was successful in climbing the stage he would have misbehaved or attacked Chief Minister and Deputy CM."
