In Stats: India Eye First T20I Win Against South Africa At Home

After a successful tour to the Caribbean, where Team India blanked hosts West Indies in all three formats, the Virat Kohli-led side will look to inflict a similar damage on the visiting South African side.

India will play the opening game of their three-match T20I series against South Africa at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.

The tour of India also includes a three-match Test series that will be played after the T20Is.

Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock will be captaining South Africa for the first time in Twenty20 Internationals.

India enjoy a success percentage of 61.53 against South Africa in T20Is, winning eight and losing five.
  • Overall, India have contested in 36 T20Is in India, winning 21 and losing 15 - success % 58.33.
