States and UTs received over 23 crore Covid vaccination doses, says Ministry of Health

According to the Union health ministry, the government of India has supplied more than 23 crore vaccine doses (23,11,68,480) to states and union territories as part of the nationwide vaccination program. More over 1.75 crore Covid Vaccine doses (1,75,48,648) are still available with the States/UTs to be administered, according to the report. According to the ministry, the Indian government has been assisting states and union territories by supplying free Covid vaccinations. In addition, the federal government has made it easier for states and local governments to purchase vaccines directly. Vaccination, along with testing, tracking, treating, and Covid proper behavior, is an important part of the Indian government's complete pandemic containment and management strategy.
