State govt will take strict steps to stop 2nd wave of COVID-19: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) April 5 (ANI): The Rajasthan Government will take immediate and strict steps for the next 15 days to control the serious condition of coronavirus infection in the state. It was decided, while reviewing the status of infection of COVID-19 and vaccination with high officials and doctors through video conference. The CM Ashok Gehlot said that the Home Department will soon issue detailed guidelines in this matter. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that in order to achieve the goal of protecting the lives of people from the second wave of COVID-19, the state government will take every possible step to prevent the infection from spreading. The Chief Minister said that the second wave of COVID-19 has become more intense due to the negligence of people towards infection. If we do not necessarily follow the health protocol of wearing masks, maintaining proper distance and frequent hand washing, the coronavirus infection will take a serious form. The Chief Minister also directed the concerned officials to speed up the COVID vaccination. The CM urged people to cooperate with the state government to effectively fight the war against corona in the state. He appealed that every citizen should take the responsibility of getting all people above 45 years of age vaccinated and motivate each other.
