Stakeholders hail Centre’s financial support to tourism industry

Shimla (HP), June 28 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced on June 28 that financial support will be provided to tourist guides, travel agencies and stakeholders. Centre to issue free visa and first 5 lakh tourists to boost tourism sector amid COVID pandemic. People belonging to tourism sector hailed Centre’s step. A hotel owner from Shimla said, “Everybody was jobless so this relief package will boost tourism. Centre government also said that tourist guides will get Rs 1 lakh loan. Best steps taken by the Central Government is no visa fees for first 5 lakh tourists.” “It was a great decision taken by centre government. We will get a lot of help from it,” said another Cab Service Provider.
