The Central Bureau of Investigation, which faced severe criticism in its probe on the Sushant Singh Rajput case, has now widened its investigation after receiving a conclusive report from AIIMS team in Delhi.
Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani’s statement will be recorded by the CBI under section 164 of the CrPc. The statements that are recorded under section 164 of the CrPc are admissible in the court. Apart from Siddharth Pithani, CBI will also record the statements of Neeraj and Keshav, Sushant’s house helps. Another reason as to why the agency is bent on recording the statements under section 164 is because when these statements will be recorded, the testimonies will not be allowed to change and the discrepancies that were found earlier will not be entertained by the agencies and court anymore.
