New Delhi, Apr 26 (PTI) Soybean prices on Monday fell by Rs 239 to Rs 7,032 per quintal in futures market as participants cut down their positions on weak spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean contracts for May delivery fell Rs 239, or 3.29 per cent, to Rs 7,032 per quintal with an open interest of 81,285 lots.

The fall in soybean prices in futures trade was mostly due to reduction of exposure by participants, marketmen said. Soybean for June delivery went down by Rs 280, or 3.94 per cent, to Rs 6,849 per quintal with an open interest of 37,410 lots. PTI SRS SHW SHW
