New Delhi, Mar 26 (PTI) Soybean prices on Friday fell by Rs 6 to Rs 5,794 per quintal in futures market as participants cut down their positions on weak spot demand. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean contracts for April delivery eased by Rs 6, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 5,794 per quintal with an open interest of 1,05,000 lots.

Soybean for May delivery traded lower by Rs 5, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 5,707 per quintal with an open interest of 80,370 lots.

The fall in soybean prices in futures trade was mostly due to reduction of exposure by participants, marketmen said. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
