New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Soybean prices on Monday fell by Rs 10 to Rs 4,634 per quintal in futures market as participants cut down their positions on weak spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean contracts for February delivery declined by Rs 10, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 4,634 per quintal with an open interest of 2,50,420 lots.

Soybean for March delivery eased by Rs 4, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 4,623 per quintal with an open interest of 2,72,460 lots.

The fall in soybean prices in futures trade was mostly due to reduction of exposure by participants, marketmen said. PTI SRS SRS RUJ RUJ
