New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) Soybean prices on Friday went up by Rs 14 to Rs 3,934 per quintal in futures market as traders created fresh positions tracking positive spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for June delivery rose by Rs 14, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 3,934 per quintal with an open interest of 39,620 lots.
Soybean for July delivery went up by Rs 20, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 3,870 per quintal with an open interest of 42,765 lots.
Marketmen said raising of fresh positions by speculators on the back of higher demand mainly led to rise in soybean prices. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
