Bollywood has always loved making biopics on sportsmen, from Mary Kom to MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and now ‘83. Another cricketer whose biopic we’d love to see is Sourav Ganguly and he has already chosen the actor whom he wants to play his role - Hrithik Roshan.
Recently, in a talk show, when Sourav was asked who would be the one to enact his character if his biopic is made. The cricketer took no time to reply and said, “Hrithik Roshan, I like him the most”. Well, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the actor in the role, since he recently did a great job in Anand Kumar’s biopic, Super 30.
His latest, War crossed various benchmarks at the box office. The film is all set to get a second installment with Hrithik being a constant in the sequel.
According to reports, Yash Raj Films had given a green signal to the second part of the franchise, after its huge success at the box office. The action thriller hit the Rs 300 crores mark on Day 19 of its release.

⭐ Actors were signed two years ago at then prevalent rates.
⭐ CoP [₹ 150 cr] includes all fees/remuneration.
⭐ Hrithik has a backend deal. He's a partner in profits.
⭐ #War will be a franchise like #MissionImpossible series, with Hrithik staying constant.
With Tiger Shroff’s character dying in War, it is unsure if he’ll be starring in the sequel, but Hrithik will be a part of it.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Hrithik Roshan also had a backend deal with Yash Raj Films, whereby he also has a share in profits. Earlier this week, War surpassed the lifetime business of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh (Rs 276.34 crore) to become the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2019. It has also crossed the lifetime business of Vicky Kaushal’s Uri.
