Sonu Nigam's views on azaan took the nation by storm after the latter tweeted that he didn't like being woken up by it being played on the loudspeakers in the morning and despised it as 'forced religiousness'. But it looks like many other celebrities don't really get disturbed by it; in fact, they rather stopped their press conferences or speeches midway, just to show respect towards the ritual. Well, we are talking about two most eminent personalities of our country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood's Dabbang 'Salman Khan'. Salman, who was present at a press conference for the launch of Bigg Boss 8 in 2014, when heard the Azaan, immediately stopped the press conferences mid-way to show respect for the Muslim prayer. In the same manner, Prime Minister Modi, while addressing a public rally during an election campaign, paused as soon as he heard the azaan from a nearby mosque.
